Heaven Helps

This song was inspired after reading Anne Rice's, "Vampire Armand." I have been an avid fan of Anne Rice for years and have thoroughly enjoyed all of her Vampire books. Each time I read one, I found myself wandering around late at night with the thought 'time to feed' going through my mind! The song, "Heaven Helps" addresses the constant question of what the vampire feels he/she is, and if they are damned for comitting the acts they need to commit in order to survive. Moreover, it addresses the beautiful act of one vampire feeding off of another, specifically when a 'fledgling' vampire feeds off of one of the older and more powerful vampires. When an act of this magnitude occurs, it is usually followed by years of courting and love; the older vampire is literally feeding the younger vampire all of their power while letting them know they're love for them is immortal.
