The Night is Young

Mitch Alden and his band NOW is NOW is back at it with their brand new record, "Days of Summer" and just in time as we're deep in June and our brief windo of summer opportunity is now open. This record is steeped in hopeful optimism and lots of reality checks, and I'm seriously digging the organ on the song "Haven."

Alden's voice is stron, clear and carries his message effectively. Cynics need not apply, and you may want to choose vibrant colors over black for this act, as they are an electrifying rock 'n' roll band. You may have to see NOW is NOW to become a true believer in their music, so the party starts at 10 Friday night, which kicks off a series of dates areound Maine this summer. Check their web site for the full schedule, and be nice to the tourists who filter into Ri~Ra should you head there.
