Right Here

Anne Frank is one of my all time favorite heroes. Along with countless European Jews, she suffered an agony which I personally feel no one today truly understands. However, through this pain and abandonment, she was always drawn to look on the more positive side of things. Each journal entry she writes displays how happiness truly is a state of mind, and we all have the choice to achieve this happiness whenever we want. “Right Here” is a testimonial to this happiness. Anne, thank you so much for inspiring me. You have no idea how much of an impact your journal writing has made upon my life.

"Right Here"

When life rushes by me, and I've lost my way
I look to the one thing which will bring me back to today
There's anger around me, because I'm myself
Still I'm believing, all this hate will get lost in itself

So I pick up the pen, stare at it so
I'm lost in my heart how I need to let go, and give into you

Cause only I, I control my feelings
Only I, I will find the truth
Only I, I refuse to linger, and drown in my youth
I'm finding comfort, there's comfort in you

I write and discover, that it's not too late
To live by example, and to meditate
Some minds are still poisoned, by all fears unseen
I try not to panic, Cause I'm right here where I should be

Oh those pages they turn, I write in a blaze
It's all that I've got to keep out of this haze
How I'm amazed

That only I, I control my feelings
Only I, I will find the truth
Only I, I refuse to linger, and drown in my youth
I'm finding comfort, there's comfort in you

Oh Yeah
